Don’t remember them going slopnose that early of a 911 generation. I’m assuming this is a kit?  Considering back in the late 90s, we use to butcher older generation 911s front end to fit a newer generation slopenose kit, I’m happy they didn’t do this with this car.  If we only realized how much in value these cars would go up, lol, we would never have done those conversions.

I do wonder if it’s possible to get Singer to do a Flachbau... and would it still be road legal.

That exact idea is what drove me to Google in the first place. Watching this video got me to thinking, I mean... he created a Targa right?

None found.

Road legal? Maybe? On a ‘93 Japan 964 he’d only be “ changing the spec or option package offered from the factory” . 25 year rule.

Quite ironic... hide the fender-embedded headlights, with a heavier pop-up mechanism, in favor of aerodynamics...

Except the grille-mounted Cibie fog lights that are a rare option anyway... leave those in place, right up there in the air stream...

Interesting... but I think flachbau works better on the 930 wide body.

Don’t see why it would be a legal issue, but I don’t see the aesthetic working with Singer’s style of tribute turned up to eleven, and crafted to perfection.

We’ve seen coupes, Targas, and now competition-style coupes with DLS.

i think the next logical thing is a speedster.

Because popup headlights may be a safety issue. So comes down to how Singer are selling these cars, as a new manufacturer or used kit cars.
